BEHAVIORAL HEALTH NAVIGATOR/PEER RECOVERY SUPPORT SPECIALIST
(Medication Assisted Treatment Program – MAT)

High school diploma or equivalent. Preference will be given to candidates with a bachelor’s degree in an accredited behavioral health related field. Individuals must understand and respect everyone’s unique path to recovery, have a demonstrated recovery from a mental illness, substance use disorder or both. Possess good moral character; complete all necessary requirements to become a Certified Peer Recovery Support Specialist; agree to respect and observe the PRSS Code of Ethics. Behavioral Health Consultant to serve as a part of integrated care team to provide behavioral health services, education, support and consultation to individuals, youth, and families. Student Loan Repayment option through National Health Services Corps (NHSC).

Master’s Degree from an accredited school of Social Work or related field. Current license as LCSW, LCSW-P, LMSW under Clinical Supervision. Fully licensed LPC, LADC or LCSW strongly preferred. Must be in good standing with the Oklahoma State Licensing Board. Experience working with a homeless population preferred. Prior experience in a medical or mental health setting is desirable. B.S. social work, nursing, psychology, education or related field or A.D. in social services or nursing with at least two years’ experience in case management or community outreach work required. Knowledge of Sooner Care (Medicaid) policy and ACA preferred, as well as background in physical fitness. Must have own transportation, as travel is required.
